Joel Azaria Lwaga is a Tanzanian gospel musician and preacher. Joel began his music career in 2016 with the release of “Recorded live Cover of Kuliko jana (Sauti Sol)” and then “Unaweza” and “Sitabaki Nilivyo” via Push up Records. He has since released one studio album, ‘Sitabaki Nilivyo” in 2017, and an extended play (EP)‘Thamani’ in 2020. Moreover between 2017 -2020 Joel Lwaga has managed to release various singles that have charted on the Top Gospel Songs Charts in East Africa and Africa at Large these includes “Umejua kunifurahisha ft. Chris Shalom(NIG)”, “Mimi Ni wa Juu” and “Nafasi Nyingine” Under Heaven Culture entertainment (HCE) which have been nominated for multiple awards including Sauti awards(USA) who announced him as the Best male Gospel artist of the year 2019.
