"High risk, high reward" was the founding vision for Phoenix-based This Modern. Blending melodic rock/pop with modern rap/hip-hop, the band takes aim at carving a new and definitive path in an oversaturated industry. 
 With Remedies, their first 7 self-produced songs, This Modern hit the ground running on release radars. From Get to Me's anthemic collab with The Color Morale's Garret Rapp, to If I Should Go's epic ballad choruses, This Modern has no hesitation to test traditional notions of genre boundaries. 
 Their 2020 debut, Better Off, is an energetic track born from the touring woes of a global pandemic. Electric, head-turning live performances and a mini tour with Canadian alt-pop Juno award winning duo Neon Dreams in early 2020 has This Modern poised to climb the industry's chaotic ladder. This Modern released more heat in late 2020 with their highly received single Next Time Around. 
 This Modern debuted their first EP Objects in Motion in October 2021 featuring genre-blending bangers like Symphonies and The Way Down. With crowd-swaying singles Everyone's Miserable, Happy Belated, and Hypocrite in 2022, This Modern is a band in intense forward motion with their newest singles California Schemin' and Act Right (feat. Dropout Kings) to start off 2023.
