In fabruary 2022 Vanja V traveled to San Marino to fight for the spot to represent them in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. She brought with her two songs that each has a strong message. 
 “Silence! (I’m telling the world)” is a song that she believes many people need to hear. Inspired by a friend’s story of sexual assault, it has an important message about standing up for yourself, and knowing that you’re not alone. The friend remains anonymous. 
 “Hymn of Hope” is about just that; hope. It was inspired by those who chose to join in song and music from their balconies, when the pandemic hit hard. “Hold your head high and sing along”. 
 23 year old artist and songwriter Vanja V, released her debut album in January 2018 and convinced the audience with her strong voice and beautiful EDM music. All songs from the album Sveve Forbi are performed in her Norwegian dialect. 
 My Bad Self is only one of the many songs she created at the elite school LIMPI - Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries. This is a music school focusing on developing the next big artists, songwriters and producers, and they have mentors that have worked with big shots like Sigrid, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber and Beyoncé.
