Kero Uno is a producer and DJ from San Jose, California. Aka Kero One for most of his career performing as a rapper, Kero released his self-produced single “Check the Blueprints” in 2003 and quickly found underground fame in Japan for his niche jazz hiphop sound. From cosigns by Stevie Wonder to producing a #1 hit song in Korea for Park Kyung of Block B, Kero always remained independent, underground and true to his chill hop soulful sound. In 2015, Kero Uno decided to go full steam as a composer and released his first album "Reflection Eternal" strictly as a producer (watch the making of on youtube). The album was inspired by his Los Angeles party called "Plug Presents" where they showcased everyone from TDE's mixedbyAli to Soulection. Per usual, Kero infused his keyboard, bass, and percussion playing abilities with vintage drum sounds and thoughtful arrangements but this time working with other vocalists. The album showed up on Reddits best of 2015 albums and featured on ABC's Grown-ish among others. A 2nd album is set to release in 2020.
