starRo has cemented his place as an innovative jazz and RnB inspired producer, but his talents and interests go far beyond that. Born in Tokyo and based in LA, starRo has bridged the two places he calls home through a global movement which encompasses the worlds of fashion, music, food, art and more. After releasing his debut album, MONDAY, which charted at #1 in Japan and #3 on CMJ’s RPM chart and becoming the first Japanese producer to receive a GRAMMY nomination in 2017, starRo has become a household name in Japan and is making waves around the world. He’s played alongside artists such as Anderson Paak., Goldlink and Flume.
