Backstabbed aka "Germany's Heaviest Boygroup" formed in 2018, is a 5-piece Hardcore combo from the Black Forest. Instead of trying to fit in the borders of a specific scene, Backstabbed created their own "Boundries Breakin' Hardcore" genre. Hardcore that even includes influences based in Funk, Punk or Rap, shows the diversity of their music. Backstabbed has released an album, 3 EPs and numerous music videos. Their current EP "Hourglass" was released on 25th November 2022, entailing a massive musicvideo for the title track "Anchors Of Our History", which sets new milestones in the German Hardcore scene. Lyrically, Backstabbed deals with mental health issues and other structural problems like environmental destruction and positions themselves against queerphobia in and outside the scene.
