Uncle Spike is a 5-piece band from Stellenbosch, South Africa. Their unique blend of rap, South African rock, jazz and classical sounds have combined to form their debut, independently released album, I in the Sky. After meeting and jamming together in their university residence, Wilgenhof, the band soon took shape. Uncle Spike has quickly started gaining local traction around Cape Town and Stellenbosch, where they are now making a name for themselves.
