Hailing from Aarau - Switzerland, "solace." created their own kind of melancholic and emotionally charged music. Not afraid to cross several genre boundaries and following their own ideal of "heavy music", solace. creates an atmosphere which hits deeper than just being angry.

 The three-part "trøst" EP picks up the listener where the debut album "i'll be fine" left you broken. Still waiting for the day when you will feel comfortable in your own skin. "trøst" is about letting go, about accepting yourself for who you are right now. About holding on to beautiful moments that keep you going through the day, no matter how dark everything seems at the moment. Only to find your own peace of mind at some point. All this is packed into the raw sound of the record, which accompanies you along the thin line between hope and agony.

 "i'll be fine" is the accumulation of our innermost fears that rob us of sleep night after night. The overwhelming thought that everything changes around you except your own hopelessness. Although, every day you try to convince yourself that one day everything will be fine again. Exactly these feelings are reflected in the melancholic mood that accompanies you through the whole record. The intentional raw sound wraps up the pent-up frustration and creates an atmosphere, in which every word and every note gets burned deeply into your skin.
