Torchia’s current line up was formed in late 2016 in Tampere, Finland. The band almost immediately started to record their first full-length album with the legendary producer Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Ensiferum, Sentenced, Amorphis). The album was to become known as 'Of Curses and Grief'. Finland’s biggest metal media/magazine Inferno picked the album as 7th best Finnish album of the year 2017 alongside with many praising reviews around the world! After touring around Europe and briefly Asia the quintet began their journey again with Mr. Hiilesmaa towards the second full-length.
