With minds enthralled by melody and ears attuned to the call of the elating unknown, Tekoa captures the ethereal and translates it into songs imbued with vibrance. Tekoa's music is marked by its lofty vocals and structure held together with very loosely tied ribbon, never grasping too tightly to the familiar. 
 The multiplicity of Tekoa’s musical character is a reflection of the diversity in influences of each of the band’s members. Staggers enriches the music with his strong folk influences by the likes of Bon Iver and Haley Heynderickx, bringing an intricacy to the rhythm and phrasing of the instrumentation. Rory provides the soul for the project with influences such as Tom Misch, James Blake and Daniel Caesar, injecting the music with chord progressions and vocal arrangements so colourful one cannot help but marvel at the spectacle of the artist's impression. And Sam provides an electronic undergirding with influences such as Billie Eilish, Golden Vessel and emawk, giving the music breath through his production. 
 This eclectic amalgamation of perspectives and influences comes together in Tekoa to produce a sound that struggles to be confined to a single audience type, let alone a single genre.
