Embee is a producer, beatmaker, composer and DJ from Västerås, Sweden. He has produced, collaborated and written songs together with José González, Seinabo Sey, Mapei, Budo (Macklemore), Annika Norlin, Lisa Ekdahl, Rakka (Dilated Peoples), Capleton, Maia Hirasawa, Sabina Ddumba, Daniel Lemma and Timbuktu to name a few. In 1992 Embee founded Looptroop (now Looptroop Rockers) with MCs Promoe and Cosmic (Supreme joined in 1995) and has been responsible for the band's production, music and mixing ever since. In 2017 the band celebrated 25 years by releasing 25 new songs in 25 weeks. The same year Looptroop Rockers was also inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. Together with his band Embee has landed over 1200 shows throughout Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Thailand, Australia, Russia and South Africa. On stage he plays drums, sings and DJs. The solo album debut was Swedish Grammy-winning album Tellings From Solitaria, followed up by The Mellow Turning Moment.  Embee was early on influenced by Hip Hop, Electronic music, Jazz, Soul and Folk. His musical expression stretches over a wide range of genres, almost always with the nordic melancholy present as a typical part of the signature sound.  As a composer he has been working with symphonic orchestras at Norrlandsoperan and Gothenburg Concert Hall. The music for the very popular Swedish national radio's documentary series P3 Dokumentär was written by Embee.
