Eli Lucas (eli.) is a 24-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from West Virginia. With over 330 million streams across platforms independently, his work can be defined by his boundless approach to genre, often blending together multiple sounds into a single project or even a single track. From indie pop to emo rap, R&B, metal, and soulful singer-songwriter, there is something here for any music connoisseur. This is all perhaps made more impressive by the fact that every single song in Eli’s original catalog is written, arranged, produced, recorded, and engineered by himself from his spare bedroom. Equal parts eccentric and hard-working, his mission since his late-2017 internet breakthrough via the melancholic “i’m sad” has been to display his own individual capabilities through his work so that it is representational of him, and him alone, without creative input from anyone else. After releasing over 125 original songs in the past 5 years, Eli is currently working on his 9th studio album, “songs of yearning.,” which will feature the meaningful lyrics and piano-oriented music that helped develop his initial fanbase.
