    “(…) The Flaying will slash the skin from your face in paroxysms of blood-spraying savagery. But it does more than that. It will also suck the air from your lungs, boil the brain, and hammer your bones into fragments fine enough to blow away in the wind.” - This quote from No Clean Singing reviewing the band’s latest album “Angry, Undead” describes accurately their sound. A good mix of brutal old-school death metal infused with a technical and creative musicianship. Bands like Suffocation, Deicide, Cryptopsy, Archspire or Black Dahlia Murder are parts of their DNA as a band, but they definitely have their own, strong identity. Formed in 2010, The Flaying is based in Quebec City (Canada). Since their first release “Unhope” (2014), they had a great impact on the metal scene. Their new album, “Angry, Undead” (2019) main theme is anger and a general hate of what humanity have become. They are now forging a solid reputation of being live stage beasts, offering quality performances and huge stage presence. Catch them on the road to be flayed alive by their colossal performance!
