    Quebec, Canada is no stranger to death metal, housing some of the biggest pioneering acts that helped define the genre. Building off of this foundation, the newly formed Canadian death metal trio FRACTURUS blends extreme death metal with deathcore elements in their debut release ''L'APPEL DU VIDE'', recorded with Chris Donaldson (CRYPTOPSY). The group features Alex Leblanc, known for his work fronting the band NEURAXIS, along with Alexis SerrÉ and Greg Nicholls on drums and guitar respectively. L'appel du Vide explores the inner workings of the mind, and the conflicts that arise.
