Biyografi
Cinéma Lumière is a Filipino indie pop outfit formed in 2018. The band’s brand of happy/sad music is reminiscent of early C86 and Sarah Records releases – sunny vocal harmonies, reverb-drenched guitars, and self-deprecating lyrics about love, heartache, life, and tragedy. Starting with the band’s debut single (2019’s “Love”), Cinéma Lumière has slowly built a dedicated following among Manila’s indie pop and shoegaze communities. Their debut EP, "Will You Catch Me?" was released on Vinyl format by Boring Productions (China), Cassette Tape by Shiny Happy Records (Indonesia) and on CD format by Catshelf Records (Philippines) and Melotron Records (Greece). Cinéma Lumière, composed of Jon Tamayo (Vocals/Guitars), Mary Yeung (Keyboards/Vocals), Manny Gallo (Drums), Tan Evangelista (Guitars) and Zed Bernardino (Bass) are currently working on their first full length album to be released on 2023.
