Since 2008, critically-acclaimed We Are Imaginary continues to refine their sound by marrying the jangly romp of The Smiths with the fuzzed-out romanticism of The Smashing Pumpkins. This hardworking outfit has represented their country at the 2015 Grass Tone Sound Festival in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, Rockin the Region 2017 in Esplanade, Singapore, and Archipelago Festival 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia. They have also opened for renowned indie pop acts such as Club 8, Moonpools & Caterpillars, Ally Kerr, and Beach Fossils when they visited Manila. We Are Imaginary, composed of Ahmad Tanji (vocals, guitars), Khalid Tanji (guitars, vocals), Apa Rubio (drums), and Vhall Bugtong (bass, vocals), hopes to make the world a saner place with their brand of hummable noise.
