BOKKA is one of the most amazing phenomena on the music scene. Their masked faces are just an introduction to the extraordinary story of a band that did not need names to create an identity. They appeared out of nowhere due to their debut single Town Of Strangers in 2013. The first album of the masked formation was well-received home and abroad - including a flattering review from Pitchfork. An original approach to both their image and music creation, which is best evidenced by their use of extraordinary, often random, instruments, quickly became the hallmark of BOKKA. The band has performed on stages at some of the most important events in Europe, including The Great Escape, Colours of Ostrava, Reeperbahn and Eurosonic, as well as in clubs in Brussels, Prague and Budapest. Second album - Don’t Kiss And Tell - received a nomination for Fryderyki Awards (the equivalent of a BRIT Award) in the category “Album of the Year - Electronic and Alternative”. The band performed both in Poland and abroad. Consistently sticking to an anonymous, mysterious approach to creating and promoting their music, BOKKA has become one of the most popular bands of the Polish alternative scene. "Life On Planet B", the band’s third album premiered on April 20th, 2018 via [PIAS] Recordings Poland and Eastern Europe. It was followed by a digital release of the EP - Satellites of Planet B - with the unique visions of the band’s songs done by Dave Pen (Archive), Yasuaki Kato, NOËP and The KVB to share .
