Pure energy - that’s the spirit of Monosphere’s new single “Friends & Foes”. Starting with an abrasive mathcore section and riff-loaden blast beats, it instantly kicks in with some oldschool-BTBAM vibes. A techy 7/8 break section reminiscent of The Contortionist’s “Exoplanet”-era leads into a djenty TesseracT-y groove section and is round up by a typical Monosphere-chorus with lots of repetitive melodies and a climax being found in an intriguing vocal performance by Mirza Radonjica from Siamese. Having shared the stages with bands like The Ocean, Rolo Tomassi, Imperial Triumphant, END and many more, Monosphere have become a known name for an enegmatic live show. Their sound in between modern prog, post-(black)-metal, mathcore and elements of classical music creates a unique sonical sphere. After their successful debut album "The Puppeteer" Monosphere are back with their best production to date and look into summer shows alongside Attila, The Dear Hunter, Napalm Death and more among a slot on Euroblast Festival 2023.
