Indische Party formed in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2011. their line up consist of Japs Shadiq (vocal & harmonica), Andre Idris (guitar), Jacobus Dimas (bass), Tika Pramesti (drums), and Warman Nasution (Guitar). They have been playing across cities in indonesia and has successfully made it into the short-list of local bands with soulful character. Indische Party bring you 1960’s rhythm and blues full of attitude and Far Eastern vibes sung in Indonesian and English. With lead singer strutting his stuff energetically, rhythms to twist to by female drummer, the twanging - Shadows-esque guitar sounds and groovy bassline, Indische Party does everything to reinforce 60’s ambience with their blues, doo-wop, Surf rock, Ballads, swing, and fuzzy garage. Indische Party won the Converse Rubber Tracks 2015 and got the opportunity to recorded two songs at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, UK. They released “On Vacation” and “Ku Butuh Pound Sterling” in cassette afterwards in 2016. The cassette itself was sold in 2 hours during the launched and became rare & collectible item among music enthusiast. In October 2017, Indische Party toured to Malaysia, UK, and Belgium to promoted their latest album at the time, Analog. the tour itself called “Analog Tour 2017”. With the theme “60’s & 70’s Indonesian Rock N’ Roll Night”, Indische Party performed at Atas by Bijan FX (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Richmix Cultural Foundation (London, UK) and Les Brigittines (Brussels, Belgium).
