Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Sanii's musical journey has been one that has been filled with ups & downs. Undoubtedly one of Zimbabwe's most talented musicians of this generation. Sanii is multi-award winner. He has won awards as a musician, as a producer as well as a songwriter. Since 1999, Sanii has commercially released 15 albums & Eps, consisting of more than 80 songs. As a producer and sound engineer, Sanii has produced over 1000 commercial songs. Sanii has won and been nominated for numerous awards that include but not limited to, ZIMA, NAMA & Pachedu & Golden Scissors Awards.Sanii started his musical journey at the very tender age of 9. Initially his parents were against the young crooner exploring his musical talent. However, with the help of his brother, the legendary iconic music producer Delani, Sanii managed to establish himself as a household name in the Zimbabwean music scene. Sanii is known in the Zimbabwean music circles as the King of Love Songs and has been referred to as the best lyricist & singer regarding love songs in and around Zimbabwe. This is mainly because each time that Sanii releases a love song, you can feel the emotion and passion in his productions.
