Leadは、谷内伸也、古屋敬多、鍵本輝からなるダンスボーカルユニット。 終始踊り続ける持久力とキレのあるダンスが魅力の実力派グループ。 大阪のダンススクールで中土居宏宜・谷内伸也・鍵本輝の3名が出会い、路上ライブを開始。その後、現在の所属事務所主催のオーディションで選ばれた福岡県出身の古屋敬多が加わり、4名でLeadを結成する。大阪のストリートパフォーマンスのメッカであった大阪城公園内・通称「城天」では、最高7,000人の動員を記録。話題騒然の中、2002年7月31日に平均年齢14.5歳の若さで、シングル「真夏のMagic」でデビュー。2013年3月をもって、デビュー以来11年間に渡ってリーダーを務めた中土居が卒業。2013年4月よりオリジナルメンバー3名でLead第2章のスタートを切った。2014年以降はメンバー自身が楽曲制作により深く携わるようになり、それぞれが作詞・作曲を手掛けた楽曲も数多い。 Leadの真骨頂といえばライブパフォーマンス。 2004年より毎年ライブツアーを開催しており、連続記録を更新中。 舞台やミュージカル出演など個々の活動もめざましく、そこで得た演劇の要素をメンバー自らプロデュースするLeadのステージにも盛り込むなど、終始歌い踊り続けるだけではないステージパフォーマンスは年々進化を遂げている。高い身体能力を活かし、アクロバットを取り入れたダンスパフォーマンスにも定評がある。 Lead is a dance vocal unit consisting of Shinya Taniuchi, Keita Furuya, and Akira Kagimoto.
