Aveva Dese is an Ethiopian-Israeli singer and songwriter. In November 2016 AvevA released her first EP “Who Am I” (produced by Yossi Fine), featuring six tracks from which four were officially released as singles. The EP received many positive reviews from music critics and great reactions from fans. The song “I Wanna Go” from the EP reached several playlists in radio stations in Israel, including Galgalatz. AvevA is working on her upcoming first full album, produced by Issac DaBom, featuring ten tracks. The album, from which two tracks (“You Find Me” and “My Heart”) were already released, is scheduled to be released during the beginning of 2019. AvevA’s music brings Ethiopian sounds and groove to her soul-pop songs. Aveva sings powerfully – in English and Amharic – about society, freedom and love. Traditional Ethiopian sounds mix with a pop sensibility in Aveva’s music, producing an aesthetic with universal appeal. AvevA has made a reputation for the ability to get a crowd dancing and at the same time penetrate the souls of the listeners. The band’s kicking beat and Aveva’s beautiful voice and charm create an uplifting performance that leaves no one unmoved. Since forming her group, AvevA has played in big music festivals in Israel including, InDnegev, Yearot Menashe, Zorba, Sigdiada, and more. The group has also performed at venues in the US, Canada, England, Germany, France, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Powered by - [email protected]
