Nicolas Bermúdez - Guitar and vocals David Bermúdez - Bass and backing vocals Alejandro Rojas- Drums Juan Burbano- Guitars Colombian band formed in 1997 by the Bermudez brothers (ex-Blaze Bayley) labeled as “melodic death metal”. However, Under Threat is the result of multiple influences from different styles and genres within metal, urging always in their lyrics the need for questioning and critical thinking. Considered as one of the most highly influential bands in Colombia,their career consist of five studio albums. The prison within” is their latest one released to date, The album cover was done by Swedish artist Niklas Sundin who worked on the two previous albums as well . The album was released on August 2017 through local label Hateworks. Under Threat has finished recording their sixth studio album "Impermanence" and it's scheduled to be released independently on November 10th 2022. The cover artwork was created by Travis Smith (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Death) and it was recorded in Bogotá, Colombia at Black Gate recording facilities by Nicolás Sadovnik and Yisux F. and mixed and mastered at Crehate Studios in Gothemburg, Sweden by Oscar Nilsson (The Halo effect, Engel). I "the plague", first single off the new album is out now.
