Telefunka (Live act) Electroacoustical trio born in Guadalajara, México in 2002. Combines different styles, musical influences such as dance, rock, disco, pop, house and techno. Telefunka has edited, under its own label Discos Calodofo, 4 LPs, 2 EPs from remixes, an alive DVD (Electrosinfónico) with a chamber orchestra and a compillation of avant-garde latin american propositions (Catwalk Sessions); they were nominated as the Best Independent Artist in 2004 by MTV; they have participated in important international festival such as Rock al Parque (Bogotá, Colombia / edition 2006) Festival al Centro (Bogotá, Colombia / edition 2010), Vive Latino (CDMX / 2005, 2011, 2015 editions), Brahma Beats (Buenos Aires, Argentina / 2005 edition), FestivalFFF (Ambato, Ecuador / 2007, 2015 editions), Festival Pa’l Norte (Monterrey, México / 2015 edition); they have also shared the stage with such great bands and DJs like Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Deep Dish, James Lavelle, Peter Murphy, Woodkid and Ladytron, among others. Telefunka has played besides the big mexican territory and in Spain, Panamá, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, the United States and Argentina, where as a result of the recording and production of their second LP in which Gustavo Cerati sings along with a theme. In august 2007, they attended the closing of the Panamerican Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at the Maracaná Stadium.
