2022 was the year the biggest Danish busking duo Life of a Busker made their official entrance onto the music scene with their first two singles “Bright” and “ A Place to Call Home”. A beautiful and chaotic year that ultimately led the couple, Sarah Johansen and Patrick Thomsen, to South Korea where they were invited to represent Denmark in the first Busker’s World Cup ever. Amidst all their World Cup preparations, they independently managed to get their first two singles some success being played on the national radio stations DR P4 and DR P5, back home in Denmark. Their personal experiences across the world as streetperformers, busking from country to country, from city to city and from coins to bills, have given them some extraordinary adventures and friendships. Every acquaintance has left them feeling that we, as humans, are more alike than we think, and that is the core element of their 3rd single “Human”. Everyone knows the feeling of missing a loved one, being anxious about the latest news or just overthinking every little thing. We all have so much in common, and if that isn’t human, then what is?
