Biyografi
For over ten years The March Divide has been cultivating an acoustic-based sound wrought with reflective lyricism, observational cynicism, and heart-on-the-sleeve honesty. Sweeping up new fans across The United States with countless live sets every year, Jared Putnam’s vision for his post-punk rock lingers on all those who hear it. From the initial release Music For Film in 2013 there has been a steady, unyielding growth to The March Divide that refuses to become complacent. This is apparent to anyone who spends time through Billions (2014), Anticipation Pops (2018), and Cinq (2021), but most prevalent with the latest release Lost Causes. Existing somewhere in the smoldering ashes of classic Spoon and Jawbreaker, Lost Causes is the intentionally 90s indie rock sixth album from The March Divide. Teaming up with producer Mike Major (At the Drive-In, Sparta, Coheed and Cambria), the band blends nostalgia with power pop choruses, sizable hooks, and a hefty dose of clever lyrical choice in ten new songs.
