Formed in late 2017, four-piece band Advents blends a reverbed, melodious, rollicking sound with melancholic songwriting sensibilities. First formed on WhatsApp with Eimann Arif on lead vocals and guitar alongside Shawin Albert on lead guitar, the genre-neutral band were later joined by bassist Mikha Chan and drummer Ikmal Arif. Advents refuses to partake in inequitable band startups in the industry and is set on doing things independently, dedicating the majority of their time to creating music.
