Pressure Points is a melodic metal band founded in Heinola, Finland, in the summer of 2004. The band has two critically-acclaimed album releases. Both albums have received splendid reviews. The music of Pressure Points has been described as exceptional in the field of melodic and progressive metal. It has been compared to the biggest names in the field, such as Dream Theater, Opeth, Porcupine Tree and Katatonia, to name a few. Musical style appeals to a wide range of listeners. Strong sense of melody combined with innovative and dynamic metal constructions resonate with a variety of metal fans and also those who appreciate a more subtle approach. The group has considerable experience of shows and tours. Since 2007, the band has played over 100 gigs in Finland and abroad, including the following tours as a supporting act: * Winter's Gate Finnish tour with Insomnium and Swallow the Sun in 2016, * Those Whom The Gods Detest with Nile in North Europe in 2011 and * Keep of Kalessin Finnish tour in 2010. The stage has also been shared with such bands like Katatoniatonia, Samael and Omnium Gatherum. The band is well known from their intensive and musical performances with strong stage presence.
