CARCARIASS is a Melodic and Progressive Death Metal band. The music of CARCARIASS is very directed Instrumental going from Death Metal to Heavy Metal. The Name CARCARIASS comes from "Carcharodon Carcharias", the latin name of the great white shark. Band releases: In 1997, first CD entitled "HELL ON EARTH"; In 1998, second album "SIDERAL TORMENT" on Impacts Records; In 2002, third album "KILLING PROCESS" on Adipocere Records. In 2009, fourth album "E-XTINCTION" on Great Dane Records; In 2013, new mastering of the first two albums in a double CD called "HELL & TORMENT" released by Great Dane Records; In 2016, re-issue of all Albums in digipack version by Greatdane Records/ Season Of Mist. In 2004, CARCARIASS stopped the concerts for 12 years, but continued to play and composed music. At the end of 2016 CARCARIASS announced its return on stage and now the band plays at many great festivals in the west of Europ: like HELLFEST 2017! For its hundredth issue the magazine METALLIAN has released and distributed a CD Best Of CARCARIASS! 2019: New Album "Planet Chaos", recorded and mixed at Downtone Studio in Switzerland by DROP (Guitarist of SAMAEL) mastered at Fascination Street Studio in Sweden by Jens BOGREN (ARCH ENEMY, AMON AMARTH,...).
