Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. Let me introduce you to the band: we are Rob Jones & The Restless Dream. And it really is a restless kind of dream. It's one I can't shake. It's one that keeps me up at night and drags me out of bed in the morning. It keeps my voice hoarse and the ends of my fingers calloused. It's a dream I've been trying to wrap my hands around, wrestle into words and distill into song. It's a dream of dusty amplifiers and off-key pianos, re-strung violins and melodies I've been whistling into the wind. It's a dream of all those songs and songwriters I've always loved. A dream that music can mean more than streams, shares and digital downloads - a dream that the right tune with the right words can still matter to the right person at the right time. Rob Jones & The Restless Dream are a musical collective from Greater Manchester revolving around the songs of Rob Jones. Their second EP, 'Trees', is due to be released in August 2023.
