Danish Grammy-nominated, triple platinum selling DK-based singer and songwriter. In 2010 her song Naar Tiden Gaar Baglaens (When Time Goes Backwards) went to number #1 for 8 weeks and sold triple platinum. It was the biggest Danish hit in Denmark in 3 years by a Danish artist/songwriter. Since then she has signed and released music under her own name or as a writer/co-writer for projects and artists other than her own. Diplo, Who Made Who, JLV, Pyrodox, Benal, Hjalmer to mention af few. Clara Sofie toured all around Denmark and Europe and played festivals such as Roskilde, Spot, Nibe, Langeland etc. She played The Voice in Tivoli numerous times, she sung duet with Olly Murs in Falkoner Salen, she guested the X-Factor finals and opened for Britney Spears at Boxen, Herning. She thrives in the contrast between odd productions and hooky toplines. Her background consists of a Catholic mum, a Buddhist dad and a grand piano. She grew up on Mozart and folksongs, but saw the light in MJ, Sia, Ryan Tedder and Max Martin.
