Wafande is a French/Danish/African singer in the field of reggae and urban-pop. Wafande has conquered the Danish scene with several gold and platinum releases, hundreds and hundreds of shows and big primetime TV performances. Wafande is a true leader and spreads his all-including positive vibes from stage, infecting his audience with pure pleasure, and making him very famous in Denmark. His approach to music and life is to meet everyone and everything with a smile even though he has experienced life from its toughest sides, all factors that are reflected in his music and personality.Wafande’s big break was in 2011 with the platinum summer #1 single ’Gi’ Mig Et Smil’. More platinum hits followed; ‘En Anden’ (platinum), ’Uartig’ (2x platinum) and the gold certified debut album ‘Du Ved Det’. In 2014 Wafande followed up on his success with his second album ‘Nyt Land’ with the gold certified hits ‘Django (Klar På Noget Dumt?)’ and ‘Se Mig Idag’. Wafande is a very familiar face on Danish TV as he is coach on the very popular Friday night primetime show ‘Voice Junior’ (since 2014).In 2015 Wafande released the EP "Grand Danois" with the hit single "Himlen For Mig Selv" going straight to 'Ugens Uundgåelige' on P3 (powerplay) and topped the charts for weeks. Same year Wafande started his new project Black Dylan with producer Nuplex reaching the international scene.
