Innovate, creative, inspirational. Just three words to define Jamie Duggan’s mammoth career. Few can lay a claim of starting a scene, but from the age of 17, Jamie set his goals high. Taking his Niche residency to every corner of the world and exploiting his larger than life persona, Jamie Duggan is a synonymous name with the bass music scene. With his new ‘Pure Bassline’ album, mixed with DJ Q, due to drop in early April, 2017 is off to a strong start for Jamie. Having built on the successes of 2016 where he smashed the charts with remixes of ‘What’s it gonna be?’ by H20 and signing up with Ministry of Sound to produce ‘Sound of Bassline’ Parts 1 and 2, Jamie also soon gained remixing duties for some of music’s biggest names, including Rihanna, Skepta and Wiley. Collectively, Jamie now has around 600,000 sales under his belt, and has performed at world-wide known venues – including Fabric, Stealth, Pier Jam, Bass Fest, Bass Jam, XOYO, Motion, Rainbow Warehouse and many more. Exercising his vast knowledge of music, Jamie started to concentrate on a house influenced bass sound, which proved to be the perfect milestone for his latest project. Focusing on promotion, Jamie is the mastermind behind South Yorkshire’s biggest house festivals – Parked Out, Fear Fest and Spring Fest. The events sell out to 7,000 party-goers every time, and draw the attention of MK, Amine Edge & Dance, Patrick Topping, DJ EZ and many more of the most established acts in the business. More recently, Jamie set up a clubbing phenomenon with Wired events. Now the most talked about aspect of nightlife in Sheffield, Tank sells out nearly every week, as Jamie plays the host to the likes of Route 94, Amine Edge & DANCE and Sonny Fodera on a weekly basis. It’s no surprise that Jamie has such a loyal following on social media, he gives away most of his tracks on Soundcloud, some of which are hitting well over 120,000 plays. Keep your ears peeled for productions, remixes, guest spots and appearances, and be part of the Jamie Duggan experience. There’s no denying that 2017 is the year of bassline.
