A driving force at the very forefront of UK bass culture: Holy Goof is a key protagonist in a scene and sound that’s had a huge impact on electronic music. Vividly hurling his own elements, ingredients and flavours into the bass music melting pot since 2014, his sound is direct, heavy, energetic, playful and takes cues from across the sonic landscape. From his productions to his dynamic DJ sets, Goof celebrates everything that’s exciting and enduring about the culture. His versatile and innovative approach and influences have led him to work with an A-list rollcall of cross-spectrum collaborators (DJ Zinc, My Nu Leng, Jauz, Flava D, Chris Lorenzo, Notion) and remixes (Tiesto, Post Malone, Martin Garrix, Khalid, NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg) As one of the earliest artists to emerge in this new movement, he’s helped shape it and take it across the world. From Printworks London to huge US festivals such as EDC and Coachella to multiple sold-out headline tours of Australia and Asia, Goof has pushed the sound in all directions with his infectious energy and love for the music. Not just his own music but the whole movement; his curated albums ‘FABRICLIVE 97’ and ‘Globes’ represent Goof, the widest possible parameters of the new bass sound and, most importantly, the brightest possible talents in the scene as he consistently highlights as many of his talented peers as possible… Ensuring UK bass culture continues to impact electronic music for a long time to come.
