‘Six tinnies down the local and off to the rave… it’s making that connection with people’s lives’ - Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1) ‘The duo are making music that speaks to a generation’ - MTV Everyone You Know are Rhys Kirkby-Cox and Harvey Kirkby - half-brothers, best mates and simpatico songwriters who produce tracks out of their Denham based studio. Their debut track 'Our Generation' quickly garnered attention from across the board, followed by the tale-spinning lyrics of The Drive striking a chord and the video, conceptualised by the boys, going viral, racking up over 9 million views to date. A deal with Reebok followed, as did a FIFA 20 placement for ‘She Don’t Dance’, with a rabid live following coming next - with many a show known for “booting off”. As well as a sold out UK tour at the end of 2021, in the summer of 2022 they performed at Boardmasters, Secret Garden Party, Isle of Wight Festival, NASS, Roskilde, Dot To Dot and, of course, rapturous shows at Reading and Leeds, where they packed out the BBC Radio 1 Dance tent and then some! EYK released a long-form EP, Just For the Times, in 2021, which featured the titular track featuring Joy Anonymous which became a feel good anthem about reclaiming life post-covid. After a 2022 was spent playing festivals and writing, EYK are back with ‘Paper Aeroplanes’, the first introduction to the music from a long-planned and forthcoming debut album.
