Kedrostubùras (Eng. Cedar's Spine) is a band playing in the style of 'Sea Wave' - rock, hip-hop, soul, jazz mix. Its four members - Matas (Vocals/Guitar/Keys/Lyrics/Producing), Pijus (Drums/Percussion), Maksas (Saxophone/Keys), and the late member Aistis (Bass) met in school and started to perform as Caw Del. However when Giedrius (Bass) changed Aistis, the name shortly changed to 'Kedrostubùras.' With a new name, they started to get up on bigger stages and, while winning a couple of local music competitions, gained motivation to move forward. Since then, Kedrostubùras successfully perform in various gigs across Lithuania. Their debut album DEL released in the summer of 2019, is filled with songs created in the dawn of the band's formation. DEL is like an homage to those summer days, whereas their debut single, Press QWU, released before the album (in the winter of 2019), implies the glare to the future. The future comes with their second album, NUX LUX, intending to unravel Kedrostubùras' identity and the term 'Identity' itself while playing and experimenting. It seems like being genre-fluid, playing, joking, and never stopping questioning things is what Kedrostubùras is mainly about.
