Brisom is a Popwave outfit from Manila, Philippines who has a modern retro sound with a wide synth landscape and infectious melodic hooks. The band has been performing in the gig circuit, universities & various festivals in and out of the country. They launched their EP Perspectives in March 2014. The first album, Limerence was released in 2016 under Warner Music Philippines, then in 2018 signed with Viva Records till 2021 and currently working with Sony Music PH. Their song, Balewala which released last 2017 has topped both music video and radio charts, They were inducted in Magic 89.9’s HALL of FAME for being on the top spot for three consecutive weeks, got nominated for 2018 Wish Music Awards for Best Alternative Song of the Year and the music video won Rock Video of the Year for MYX MUSIC AWARDS 2018. Their releases (Waking Lives and Pilot) are the OST for the movie On Vodka, Beers and Regrets, starring JC Santos and Bela Padilla, the band were also featured in the film. Brisom is also part of the global brand campaign of Coca - Cola, Coke Studio. Their current release “Jeepney”, a popwave version of Kala’s hit is already out everywhere.
