YiGZAW is one of the names from southern Sweden that has taken a new wave of music by storm. The Swedish hip-hop artist shows a different perspective on a melodic singing rap that gives a lyrical and harmonic hip-hop but also, the R & B the expression in his songs are touched upon. By gaining influence from his early childhood days and growing up with gospel, YiGZAW has been able to combine influences and ignite a modern sound. 
 His debut single Shawty shows us his promising entry, and his 2018 @CANNOT CHANGE follow-up takes us into a new era in the game. Although he has released a number of singles and his debut EP Premiere on Spotify, he has already shared the stage on venues with some of the hottest Sweden hip-hop profiles such as Lamix, been featured on Sweden's radio stations "P3 Sweden's radio and P3 Din Gata", played on southern Sweden's festival "Malmöfestivalen" and started 2019 by being nominated for the "Breakthrough of the Year" by Sweden's rap magazine, GAFFA. 2020 became the year YiGZAW took on the Swedish hip-hop scene properly, with releases such as ’La Dolce Vita’. 2021 became the year he showcased his up coming debut album at an event with grammy’s Sweden. 
 A natural follow up in 2022 came to be the launching of his debut album Ett steg bak två steg fram. By already building up the anticipation for the album YiGZAW has this year shared the stage with artists like Ricky Rich. Expect nothing but great energy with no dull moments when YiGZAW hit the stage.
