NAMSAYN is an independent Korean hip-hop and R&B artist based in London, United Kingdom. He began writing and recording his own demos when he was in high school. Inspired by artists like Jay Park, DPR LIVE, offonoff and DEAN, he likes to play with harmonic layers and melodies in his rapping. NAMSAYN released his first EP 118 Yalreadykno in 2019, which delves into the Korean underground hip-hop sound. A year later, he released his second EP something to look forward to. Blending elements of neo-soul r&b, mellow guitar riffs, and uplifting vocals, something to look forward to brings out a softer side of the artist. In 2022, NAMSAYN released his first full-length album would you have known?, consisting of a total of 12 songs. The rapper ZENE THE ZILLA from AMBITION MUSIK also featured in one of the tracks. "As the title [would you have known?] suggests, the overarching theme of the album is based on the adult world that I pictured when I was young and portrays the journey going from childhood to adulthood. The 12 tracks are a reference to 12 different moods of the day, from 12 pm to 12 am." - NAMSAYN
