1991年生まれ。インターネット発の音楽家。イラストレーター。 2009年より「ハチ」名義でニコニコ動画にボーカロイド楽曲を投稿しはじめ、2012年、本名の米津玄師として活動開始。楽曲のみならずアルバムジャケットのイラストやMV制作も手がけ、マルチな才能を有するクリエイターとして注目を集めている。 2018年、ドラマ「アンナチュラル」の主題歌として「Lemon」を書き下ろし、2年連続で各主要チャートを席巻。日本レコード協会、史上最速の300万DL認定。ミュージックビデオは日本最多の再生数を突破するなど、音楽史に残る記録を残している。 Foorin「パプリカ」や、菅田将暉「まちがいさがし」、嵐「カイト」など楽曲提供も行う。自身の楽曲としては、ドラマ「ノーサイドゲーム」主題歌「馬と鹿」、ドラマ「MIU404」主題歌「感電」など数々の名曲を生み、８月には、5thアルバム「STRAY SHEEP」を発売する。 KENSHI YONEZU, born in 1991. A musician to come out of the internet. Illustrator. Starting out by posting Vocaloid tracks under the alias Hachi in 2009, Yonezu began his career under his real name Kenshi Yonezu in 2012. Known as an artist of many talents, Yonezu not only writes his own material but he also draws the illustrations to his album artwork and creates his own music videos. His smash hit “Lemon” ranked #1 on Billboard JAPAN?s annual cumulative charts for 2 years consecutively. Certified by the Japan Record Association for the fastest to achieve 3 million downloads and the music video breaking the Japanese record for the most views, the song has definitely left its mark on Japanese music history. He has also produced and written the songs “Paprika” for Foorin, “Machigai Sagashi” for Masaki Suda, and “Kite” for ARASHI. While releasing numerous smash-hit songs as a theme song to drama series, “Uma to Shika” to No Side Game and “Kanden” to MIU404, on August 5th he is releasing his 5th album “STRAY SHEEP”.
