Biyografi

In 2002, a drug boat capsized off the coast of California and was forced to dump its cargo into the water. From the combined powers of kilos and kilos of weed and the ocean herself, Jack Vitek and Lucas Erickson were born. Destined to save the world from bad music and major 7ths where there don't need to be any, they formed The Sandspits. Often confused for a couple, when we reached out for comment, Jack responded: "nah, dude, he's not macho enough for me." Shortly afterwards, during the recording of their first full-length album, "Save Trestles," Nilav Maulik and Abby Neal joined the group, originally as a triangle player and tromboner, respectively. After many takes of the album's songs, it was discovered that Nilav did not have the fine motor control to accurately play the triangle, and Abby's arm wasn't long enough to fully extend the slidey thing on the trombone, so Nilav resigned to the guitar, and Abby to the bass.
