Wings of the ISANG is a post-rock band formed in Seoul, South Korea, in 2011. “The band that sings time and space." Their songs poeticize the undiscovered beautiful side of darkness entangled in Time and Space in their own soundscape with Korean unique sensibility; Life and Death, Light and Darkness, Moment and Eternity, Idea and Existence, Meeting and Parting, Meaningfulness and Meaninglessness that are everywhere. Wings of the ISANG debuted with EP [Lost], in March 2011 and released their first full-length double album [Stream of Consciousness] in September 2016. And with this album, they won ‘Best Modern Rock Album’ from The 14th Korean Music Awards in 2017 and were nominated for ‘Album of the Year.’ And also they released their second full-length double album [The Borderline between Hope and Despair] in September 2021, and with this album, they won 'Best Modern Rock Album' once again from The 19th Korean Music Awards in 2022 and were nominated for 'Best Modern Rock Song.' * Contact: wingsoftheisang@gmail.com
