    Letrang Norte (translates to “Lyrics of the North”) is an uprising folk pop duo from the North, composed of healthcare workers that won as the Grand Champion in Kanto Kultura national songwriting competition by the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It is composed of Louie Kem Babaran (a registered nurse), Rebecca Ruth Resuello (a registered pharmacist) and their session violinist, Angelica Bancud (a registered nurse and a medical doctor). 
 Rebecca Ruth Resuello and Louie Kem are both multi-instrumentalists, and songwriters. They both are music producers and sound engineers of Northern Root Records (an indie record label founded/managed by Ruth Lee Resuello).

 Their debut single titled "Kalma" was written, arranged, performed, recorded, and engineered by Louie Kem and Ruth co-produced with their A&R Manager, Ebe Dancel. 
They have an upcoming track "SALAMAT NA LANG SA LAHAT", co-written with Ebe Dancel. Premiering this 29th of April.
