Four best friends, rocking their heart out, founded in Bandung, Indonesia since 2008. Ilham Prasetya (Guitar/Voc), Aldy Ramadhan (Bass/Voc), Fajar Putu (Drums), and Wahdan Ismudiar (Guitar) proclaimed Danger Ranger’s music as Heavy Dance Pop. Mostly influenced by 90’s pop and 2000’s AltPress rock. Their first two demos (What a Horrible Date, and She Says Break Up) in 2008 received significant numbers of play in Myspace, and even got published by US online label Series Two Records. In 2009 they got through the semifinals of Indonesia’s LA Light Indiefest, and went on to release their first mini album called “Party Animal”, the mini album that brought them to play in various cities in Indonesia and even the neighbouring countries. After some times of shows and tours as an independent band, in 2011 they sign their first major label contract and went through the hustle bustle of Indonesia’s music industry. Well, it was not going as their planned to be and they carry on, in 2014 Danger Ranger released their second album, Esok Hari Kan Cerah, back as an independent band and got nominated for Hai Magazine’s Best Pop Punk band in 2015 for Reader’s Poll Music Award. In quarantine moment of 2020, Danger Ranger members are back to play music together virtually, as they are currently lives in different cities, and are already plannig to release new materials.
