Hoolahoop is a rock music group from Bandung which formed on May 1, 2009. Its members consist of Aris (guitar vocals), Fadli (guitar), Reddy (bass), and Tama (drums). Starting with rearranging Rocket Rockers’ song, ‘Perjalanan Terindah,’ which was not include in the album ‘Better Season,’ they began to have a place, mostly in Bandung. Hoolahoop established itself as one of the Bandung City bands by releasing an EP titled ‘Hari Untuk Berlari’ in 2012. The album contains seven songs, including three singles such as ‘Perjalanan Terindah,’ ‘Hari Untuk Berlari,’ and ‘Angel or Keisha.’ In 2015 Hoolahoop had the opportunity to perform at Music Matters Live 2015, Singapore. Later in 4 months, Hoolahoop became Indonesia’s representative at one of the prestigious music events MU:CON Seoul 2015, South Korea. After attending a series of music festivals in Asia, Hoola- hoop held their first solo concert on December 5, 2015, with the headline ‘Konser Untuk Berlari.’ Hoolahoop’s musical journey continues in 2017 by releasing their first full- length album titled ‘Nirmana.’ The form of exploration and experimentation in the sound preference is the main distinction and progression on the album. With 13 tracks in it, the album presents a fresher and more powerful rock music sound that is quite different from the previous album.
