Amanda Greatorex may seem new to the music scene but her experience proves otherwise. With a degree in music from the prestigious University of North Texas College of Music and 10+ years of professional performing under her belt, this New Jersey native exudes confidence and style with an ease that only a seasoned voice can posses. Despite her dynamic vocal range, she manages to exercise subtlety and control, making even the most challenging vocal lines to sound effortless. Influenced by all the jazz greats, as well as pop and r&b such as Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, Michael Jackson, H.E.R, India Arie, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Moonchild, and many others, Amanda’s voice has a well-rounded familiarity and refreshingly mature vocabulary. Her debut EP “Midnight Sea” marks the beginning of Amanda’s latest dive into songwriting, an exciting new direction for her musical career.
