Still Blue are an Indie Pop band based in Dublin. The band is led by vocalist/songwriter Nicole Lyons with Ruairi Forde on lead guitar, drums by Greg Kearns. The band have played in many music venues across Ireland including a sold out headline show in The Workman’s Club Cellar, supported The Academic in the Olympia Theatre and supported Milk. in the Academy. The up-and-coming Indie trio show off their skills by recording, producing & mixing their own music. They’re influenced by the sounds of The 1975, Arctic Monkeys and Two Door Cinema Club and the writing stylings of Phoebe Bridgers and Taylor Swift. The band have recently signed with Faction Records and are working on their Debut EP which will be released in early summer time. Still Blue’s latest single ‘Lace’ was released 18th May. "We describe the song when we play it live as a sad song about sex but it’s a lot more than just that. It’s an incredibly vulnerable song describing a very female experience wherein you would degrade yourself to nothing but an object, to gain any sort of intimacy from another person. Trying to feel comfortable in your sexuality whilst only being viewed as a body is so confusing as a young woman. People will do whatever it takes to feel loved, even if that means lowering their standards until they’re nonexistent." Still Blue have a busy summer ahead of them, playing Indiependance Festival in Cork and Otherside Festival in Meath. They're also stupid sexy.
