Founded by Brian Corn and Doug Smith, the band hit the studio to produce the 2015 album “Human Paradigm,” combining 5 new tracks along with QUOR's initial EP "WAGTBA." The reissue brought attention to the track “Let’s Rise,” leading the indie short film for the song to hit #1 for multiple weeks on Loudwire’s Video Battle Royal. It was retired into Loudwire’s Hall of Fame after competing in a true David vs. Goliath field of mega bands including Slayer, Trivium, Children of Bodom, and Operation Mindcrime. The momentum placed the band on multiple tours across the U.S. and gained attention around the globe. In 2017 acclaimed producer Chris Baseford (Nickelback, Motely Crue, I Prevail, Shinedown...), took on QUOR for its 2018 EP “The Way We Are.” The release was a giant step forward for the band, independently amassing 7-Digit stream counts on the Spotify platform alone and selling out of the first pressing of the physical CD. In 2018/19 QUOR expanded into Asia with 3 successful tours in Japan and Thailand. The band received a coveted placement in the Japanese print magazine “Burrn!” and a featured spot in the 2019 Tachikawa Metal Fest - notably QUOR was the only non-Japan based act invited to the 2-day festival. Afterwards, QUOR was welcomed home with a string of sold out shows in LA and San Diego as direct support for the Mongolian mega band The Hu, and later as direct support for the rising star New Zealand act Alien Weaponry.
