Ska/Reggae band formed at the end of 2012 in São Paulo (Brazil) and with strong influences from Jamaican music and subcultures such as Punk and English MOD. Marzela's intention is to "break" the existing formats in the style and make something new out of everything that has been done so far within the scene. Today the band is formed by six members, all known in the São Paulo underground scene, some of them with passages (some current) by consecrated bands in the scene as Skamoondongos, Radio Ska, Extra Stout and the Skaravana Block (São Paulo carnival block specialized in Jamaican music). The band stands out for its diverse authorial songs, forming a unique sound and very different from the traditional standards known in the scene. Much of this is due to its influences and the experiences of its members. The band always stands against any kind of oppression and prejudice, always showing that Ska is much more than something festive: It is a symbol of resistance! • Banda de Ska/Reggae formada no final de 2012 em São Paulo (Brasil) e com fortes influências da música jamaicana e subculturas como Punk e English MOD. A intenção do Marzela é “quebrar” os formatos existentes no estilo e fazer algo novo a partir de tudo o que já foi feito na cena. A banda se destaca por suas diversas canções autorais, formando uma sonoridade única e bem diferente dos padrões tradicionais conhecidos na cena. Muito disso se deve às suas influências e experiências de seus integrantes.
