Within the boneyard of loss and spite, behind the door of the sepulchre of pain, small eyes wait and watch for the memories to fade and the clouds of oppression to part..." -ImperativePR Somnent is a melodic death/doom project created by multi-instrumentalist Giovanni Antonio Vigliotti and has released three albums to date. The EP Eventide (2015), Sojourn (2017), and Gardens from Graves (2021) performing all instruments and vocals as well as taking up production duties. Somnent's sound uses a combination of electric and acoustic instruments to weave songs of melancholy, loss, and hardship. All to create a listening experience that is as much soothing as it is heartbreaking.
